Assad Saifullah Khan

Assad Saifullah Khan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a major in History and Culture and a minor in French. He furthered his education in London, completing his legal studies with a Common Professional Examination/Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law in 2005 and a Bar Vocational Course certification from the Inns of Court School of Law (ICSL) in 2007.

Currently, he serves as the CEO of Kohat Textile Mills Ltd and holds the position of Director of Legal Affairs for Saif Group. In his role as Head of the Legal Department, he oversees all legal and contractual matters for Group subsidiaries and associated companies.

His extensive experience includes working in both the UK and Pakistan. During his legal education, he worked with Orr, Dignam & Co (Islamabad) and served as a caseworker for Harriet Harman MP, QC, the current Deputy Leader of the Labor Party.

Following his studies, Assad interned at J.D. Spicer & Co., a prominent solicitor's practice in London. He later returned to Pakistan, where he worked as an Associate at Hassan & Hassan (Lahore), handling company law cases and corporate matters for major multinationals under the guidance of Dr. Parvez Hassan.

Mohammad Ali Saifullah Khan

Mr. Muhammad Ali Saifullah Khan holds a BA Honors degree in History and International Relations from Royal Holloway University of London and an MA in International Relations from Webster University. He currently serves as a Board Member of Softech Systems and is the CEO of Saif Builders, CEO of Saif Ventures, and a Director at Saif Cement Limited.

Previously, he worked as a Business Development Director at Sun Credit Systems, a UK-based solar company. With a strong background in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking, he contributed significantly to major projects, including financing the acquisition of prestigious hotels like Grosvenor House Hotel in London and Plaza Hotel in New York, both valued at over USD 1 billion. He also played a key role in structuring financing for the acquisition of 55 Newman Street in London worth over 40 million GBP and was part of the team handling the Dream Downtown Hotel acquisition in New York City, valued at 200 million USD.

Apart from his professional accomplishments, Mr. Khan actively participates in social welfare initiatives through the Saifullah Foundation for Sustainable Development (SFSD), a private NGO founded by his late grandmother, Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan (Hilal-e-Imtiaz). SFSD runs projects such as the Women & Children Hospital, Barrister Saifullah Khan Vocational Training Centre, and SFSD Scholarships, serving the underprivileged in Pakistani society.

Rana Muhammad Shafi

Rana Muhammad Shafi holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Punjab and is a Cost and Management Accountant Finalist from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. He currently serves as an Advisor to the Board of Directors at Saif Group of Companies. In this role, he provides guidance on investments, mergers, acquisitions, and financial matters. He also offers expertise in securitization of assets, treasury functions, and managing capital markets.

With over 52 years of diverse experience in Cost and Management Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Administration, Management control, and Treasury & Financial Management, Rana has been associated with Saif Group since January 1981. Throughout his tenure, he has held various positions, including Cost & Management Accountant, Chief Accountant, Commercial Manager, General Manager Finance, Executive Director Finance, and Chief Financial Officer.

Rana has conducted numerous workshops on corporate accounting, leadership management, and treasury financing. Prior to his tenure at Saif Group, he worked at Ali Textile Mills Ltd., Jhang (3 years), Mansoor Textile Mills Ltd., Lahore (3 years), and Nishat Mills Ltd., Faisalabad (5 years).

Dr. Salman Iqbal

Dr. Salman Iqbal, Chief Executive of Softech Systems, has over 30 years of experience in engineering, software design, development, consultancy, and senior-level technical and business management. He directed the startup and daily operations of Softech, an export-oriented software development and technology services company. Under his leadership, Softech has developed several products in the capital, financial, healthcare, and social media segments. Also provided development and consulting services to prestigious global clients based in the USA, Canada, UAE, Singapore, Turkey, UK, Ghana, and Pakistan.

Dr. Salman Iqbal has corporate senior-level management experience, having successfully managed capital market development projects worth millions of US Dollars. He carried out pioneering work for the stock exchanges of Pakistan to fully automate their trading, clearing, dissemination, and depository functions. Previously, he designed and implemented message-passing and network security systems for diverse computing environments.

He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Lahore University of Management Sciences, serving as a member of NCEAC (HEC Pakistan), and as a representative on academic councils of several public and private sector universities.
